Wrecked by Jeff Goins

We all have experiences in life where it completely turns it upside down. Whether that is an experience of going abroad and seeing the poverty and brokenness in the world or just like myself, of building an organisation and then being made redundant. This book examines these experiences and what we can do about them. Jeff has an amazing ability to tell a story in such a way that is engaging and challenging. It is one of a few books that I want to read over again, in case I have missed something or a challenge that I need to think about again. I have also been challenged that you do not really find happiness in gaining more, it is more what you can give of your life, facing new experiences and learning from them. What if you say, about your job, I am going to stick with it, work hard and do my best, no matter what. One of the biggest lessons I have learn’t is there is life to lead, life doesn’t stop with being broken, it is a new beginning and you are seeing in a completely different way that can help you move on and benefit the world around you.
